What is UniMaid?
UniMaid is a service addressing the needs of UK University students. UniMaid will supply a room cleaning service, weekly laundry wash and dry service, and fortnightly water delivery.
Do I have to be in the room when the Maid cleans?
University Regulation requires you to sign the Maid into the University Resident building upon her arrival. After that, it is up to you whether you want to watch and advise or simply let the cleaning commence!
Are your staff insured and vetted?
We employ an agency to carry out our cleanings. All of their cleaners are fully insured. We do not employ just anyone—we only employ people who we know personally or are recommended by people who already work for us.
Are your staff legally allowed to work in the UK?
All our staff are registered with the Home Office Registration Scheme.
Are your staff considerate?
Our priority is to make sure you are happy with our services but also with your cleaner. Our staff are very polite, always smile, and happy to help you in any situation.
When and how frequently is laundry picked up?
Depending on what Uni you attend, your laundry will be picked up on a different day. Up to 6 kilos of laundry is covered per bag.
We always schedule the pick-ups and drop offs for the evening so they will not interfere with lectures or classes. Laundry will be picked up once a week and will be returned 24 hours later.
